How to Use Admin Commands in Unturned

RocketMod expands the vanilla command set with a full suite of admin commands accessible from the in-game chat. Before you can use them, RocketMod must be installed and your Steam account must be set as server owner.

Before you start: Complete both prerequisites: install RocketMod and make yourself an admin.

Run admin commands

  1. Stop the Unturned server.
  2. Install RocketMod if you have not already.
  3. Set yourself as server owner following the admin guide.
  4. Start the server and join it.
  5. Open the in-game chat and type commands as needed.

Available commands

RocketMod is now maintained by Smartly Dressed Games as Rocket (LDM), short for Legally Distinct Missile, and ships with the Unturned dedicated server. For the current release and documentation, see the Legally Distinct Missile repository and the official Rocket documentation.

Troubleshooting

  • Commands not recognised: confirm RocketMod is installed and the server has been restarted after installation.
  • Permission denied errors: verify your Steam64 ID is set correctly in Commands.dat (an Owner line followed by your Steam64 ID) or in Permissions.config.xml.
